Spring Treatment: 1. Insecticide: This application will kill wintering insects, and protect plants from other insects for a time. 2. Fertilization: This is a triple 14 fertilizer that is time released so plants are fed over a period of 4-6 weeks. These applications are done together.  Late Spring Treatment: 3. Insecticide and Fungicide and Miticide: This application will kill any insects at this time of year and will help control any fungus on the plants from wet weather. Summer Treatment: 4. Insecticide and Miticide: This is for mites that may be present but are very hard to detect. The can slowly kill the plant. Fall Treatment: 5. Insecticide, and Dormant Oil: This will kill fall insects and protect the plants over the winter. 6. Fertilization: Fall Fertilizing is very important in helping plants to recover from summer and prepares them for the winter. Triple 14 is applied. These applications are done together. |
